Pushing the boundaries of 3-D cinema and animation “Magic Piano” is a truly immersive and thrilling experience for a family audience. The emotional story of a girl missing her father brings tears to the eyes- both adults and kids, and every child wants to be on the flying machine. The film directed by Martin Clapp, 30’ is a 3-D puppet animation adventure and comes both as a part of feature film “The Flying Machine” and as an independent short film. It is entirely set to Frederic Chopin’s Etudes, performed by world famous pianist Lang Lang. It was produced by Breakthru Films Sp. z o.o. (Poland) and made by artists and filmmakers from all over the world. Their excellent work has been appreciated – “Magic Piano” has recently been short listed for 2012 Oscars!
MAGIC PIANO LIVE IN 3D premiered at the New York International Children’s Film Festival on 17th March 2012.
