Tamsin Lyons
Producer
Tamsin has worked with BreakThru Films since 2006, and manages her own slate of projects for the company as a producer, both in live-action and animation.
Her recent diverse experience includes The Last Thakur shot on location in Bangladesh (released by Artificial Eye and More4 in 2010, premiered at London & Dubai Film Festivals); Scratch a novella film starring Luke Treadaway and Viktoria Winge which won Best Film in Aubagne Film Festival 2010; and two of the short films for Breakthru’s The Flying Machine – Hamster Heaven directed by Paul Bolger and Leevi Lemmetty’s Papa’s Boy a cross-media project including stereoscopic 3D animation with soundtrack by classical superstar Lang Lang, illustrated children’s book, and iPhone Apps (international premiere in Annecy 2011, released by Nordisk Film in Finnish cinemas and broadcast YLE2 Good Friday 2011).
After eight years in the UK, where she also completed an MA in Producing at the National Film & Television School, she is now back in her home town of Dublin, producing Breakthru’s Irish projects.
